The newborn care class is designed for first time parents although experienced moms and dads who think they need to brush up on the basics are welcome too. Topics presented include normal growth and development, soothing a fretful baby, safe and healthy sleep practices, infant nutrition, infant sleep patterns, and infant massage. Other topics may arise based on the interests of the group.

Prior childbirth or a Lamaze course is strongly recommended for this one-session class. A review of labor and delivery, relaxation and breathing techniques along with pain management options are covered and a tour of the facility is also included. Bring 2 pillows and a blanket / throw and wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. This class is not intended for families who are having their first birth experience.

The breastfeeding support group lets breastfeeding mothers ask questions and receive support about breastfeeding from other mothers and our certified breastfeeding consultant staff. Let us help you and your baby get off to a good start and/or continue on the path to success. This group is free for all breastfeeding mothers and their infants. Bring a diaper bag with all the baby care supplies the baby will need during the session. If you or your baby are ill, please postpone your participation until you're feeling well again.

This support group is designed for women who are having a difficult time adjusting to motherhood. Whether you're a first time mom or the mom of a growing family, this group provides mom-friendly place to share and talk about everyday stressors, adjusting to new roles, the challenges of breastfeeding, and the emotional roller coaster you may be riding. These sessions are open to all postpartum women who delivered up to one year ago.

This class is designed for expectant mothers who know they are having a c-section, and do not need to attend a comprehensive prepared childbirth class. The class covers pre-admission information, the day of surgery, what happens in the operating room, and after the baby is born. The instructor also covers pain management, breastfeeding after a c-section and newborn care. A tour of the hospital is included. The fee for this class is per couple.
